Penetrating Liquids

The Non-Destructive Testing is carried out to highlight surface defects on all materials (castings, welds, pipes, etc.). The method of penetrating liquid control is based on the visual examination of the surface after the application, in sequence, of a penetrating product and a detector. First, a preliminary cleaning is done on the surface of the material to be inspected manually or by mechanical means to remove paint, oxides, greases and oils among other contaminants that may affect inspection.

Magnetic particles

Magnetic particle Inspection (MPI) is a non-destructive testing (NDT) process for detecting surface and shallow subsurface discontinuities in ferromagnetic materials such as iron, nickel, cobalt, and some of their alloys. First, the surface of the ferromagnetic components to be inspected is conditioned in such a way that it is suitable for inspection.

Then the lighting conditions are verified according to the values established in the reference standards depending on whether they are visible or fluorescent.
